Our Japandi Common Bathroom Reveal 🤍

Our common bathroom may be compact, but every detail was designed with both aesthetics and practicality in mind. 🤍 We chose a white PD Shoji door to blend seamlessly with our Japandi theme, creating a clean and cohesive look throughout the home. 
To achieve a subtle hotel-inspired vibe, we kept the space simple and added a wall-mounted light to bring in a touch of warmth and elegance. To keep renovation costs manageable, we retained the original HDB wall and floor tiles, making changes only around the vanity area for a more refreshed look. 
If you take a closer look, you'll notice that our Rigel mixer tap spout is intentionally designed with a slight downward angle. This thoughtful detail ensures the water flows directly into the basin, reducing splashes while making everyday use more comfortable and practical. 
We also opted for an undermount sink for a cleaner and more seamless look. Besides complementing our minimalist Japandi aesthetic, it's also much easier to maintain since there's no raised edge to trap water or dirt—simply wipe everything straight into the sink. 
A half-height wall was built to separate the shower area, helping to minimise water splashes when guests use the bathroom. We also incorporated an open niche into the wall, giving us a convenient spot to keep shower essentials within easy reach. 
Lastly, we concealed the exposed water pipes to soften the overall appearance and create a cleaner, more seamless finish. Sometimes it's the little details that make a small space feel calm, functional, and timeless. ✨
