Our home is more than just a place—it’s a reflection of who we are, the stories we carry, and the memories we create together. We’ve slowly been filling our home with pieces that mean something to us—things that tell our story and make this space feel like us. From little keepsakes and handmade touches to things we’ve collected along the way, it’s been a rewarding process. Here’s a short post sharing what we have so far. We’ve are trying to turn our space into a plant home—slowly but surely. Right now, we have barely started - with the 1st plant babies in the home being the 2 terrariums featured in the first picture. We built them recently at a workshop in JB as a fun activity at an affordable pricing of ~S$20+ per pax. Unfortunately, so far, these open terrariums have been a challenge to maintain, but we are trying hard!

The back of our living room had been looking quite empty hence we are slowly trying to spruce it up, starting with a plant bench.

Eventually, we aim to fill our home with a mix of meaningful decor and greenery, with each plant bringing a little more life and warmth into the rooms. We’re still in the middle of making it all come together, but we love how it’s already starting to feel like us—green, personal, and full of quiet growth. P.s the left plant is an avocado plant which we have sprouted from an avocado seed after eating an avocado. It’s our little DIY project and we are excited to see how far it will grow!

Apart from plants, we have also added along minimalistic decor that holds special memories: little objects that remind us of places we’ve been, moments we’ve shared, or just things that bring us peace.

This is the MR’s little toy collection—his little corner of joy in the study room. It’s a fun contrast to our otherwise minimalist and Japandi space, but still so him, and full of meaning. And who knows… a small fish tank might be joining the party soon. 🐠 Stay tuned. 😉

We featured this shelf setup in a previous kitchen post, but we couldn’t resist sharing it again. It’s one of those corners that brings us a quiet sense of joy every time we see it—from the dining table, the living area, or just walking by. Each piece on the shelves was chosen with care—nothing rushed, nothing random. Just simple, meaningful things that feel like us. Curating it slowly has made it all the more special. We’re not quite done yet—there’s still a lot we want to add—but every new detail brings more warmth and personality into our space. It’s a home in progress, filled with intention, and we’re loving the journey.
