Welcome to our home! In line with the Japandi luxe theme of our home, we chose a “marble-like” laminate from 8Doors to cover the dark wood main door that came with our BTO (iykyk). We have also programmed our smart home system (check out our previous posts on our master bedroom and living room if you haven’t already!), to automatically switch on the foyer lights when we return home at night. 
Right beside our main door is this arch mirror seatee. We requested for this so that we have a place to sit when we put on our shoes, and can do a last outfit check before we leave home. (This mirror is great for OOTDs too! :P) 
We opted for 170⁰ hinges to hide our DB box, while making it easily accessible. 
On the other side of our seatee, we have a small niche to put commonly used items! 
Here’s where we keep some of our shoes and socks! We requested for AA tracks so that we can customise the height of the shelves, and maximise the space within.
