This is what greets us each time we open our maindoor. On the right, we have a vertical display shelf that showcase curated items that match our home aesthetics yet hold deep meaning to our hearts. We also make sure to display non-breakable items on the lower shelves for child's safety.

Here's a small area for our shoes. A small shoe cabinet serves as a constant reminder for us to not splurge on things we do not need. I used to have alot of shoes, but I always ended up wearing the same few pairs, and the remaining shoes either get disintegrated or they turn yellow. So, lesson learnt, just buy what we need. :) That being said, we can still fit about 22 to 24 pairs of shoes in this shoe cabinet.

One of the criteria during our reno is to have a dance corner for our little one. This full-height mirror is a great addition to this space. It not only helps widen our entryway visually, but we are also able to fully utilise our walkway. It is a joy to watch our daughter practise her dance moves or just goofing around infront of the mirror. We also have some bonding dance time here as a family. :) Mr A also uses this space for his exercises and stretches while I use this space mostly for my makeup and a final fit check before heading out.

These built-in cabinets make the most out of vertical space as they stretch from floor to ceiling, so no space is wasted. They are built to cover our DB box as well as awkward structured beams. We place most of our daily essentials here as it is nearer and more convenient as compared to the kitchen. We also house our cleaning items here. Eg. our Shark Steam Mop.

We also hide our Samsung vacuum in our cabinet with powerpoint for easy charging.
