Welcome in! This is our entryway where we meet our guests. On the left, we hacked the kitchen wall to create an open kitchen concept and to allow more light in from the kitchen. We also built a peninsula to create the cosy cafe vibes :) On the right, we concealed the walls and bomb shelter with a built in feature wall. We chose a light wood colour for the laminate for the feature wall to fit into the scandi design of the house. We decided against carpentry for our shoe cabinet and to conceal our DB box to save costs. After months of searching, we found the perfect shoe cabinet with customized dimensions and curved rattan details that fits our home theme from taobao. We also customised a wooden panel with moveable shelves and hooks from taobao to conceal our DB box.
