When we first got our floor plan years ago, Wayne immediately knew that we needed a dedicated walk-in wardrobe. With the sheer amount of clothes, stuff, and randomness we’ve accumulated, it just made sense. So once reno began, the first wall we hacked was this one (no PE approval needed, unlike our kitchen wall). We knocked down Bedroom 2’s wall and removed its door frame, sealing the original entrance and creating a curved opening that connects directly from our master bedroom. Shoutout to our cornice guys, they executed the curve and sealed wall perfectly and so quickly.

We spent a lot of time thinking about the layout — we’ve drawn at least 10 different layouts and the final design features an L-shaped carpentry unit that spans across 21ft, with a dedicated space at the end for my vanity setup.

In a plot twist, Wayne actually took up more wardrobe space — to make room for his 17,483,772 aforarcade/arcademen pants and Uniqlo tees 🤭. Since this was our first attempt at designing a wardrobe interior, I turned to Pinterest for layout ideas and pieced together something that fits both our needs.

And finally, my favourite part: the cutest little pendant light I hand-carried back from Shanghai. It gives the entire space such a warm and cosy glow. 🥰
