Welcome to our dining space - a place where we bond with friends and family over shared meals, laughter and heartfelt conversations. 🍽️✨
This recessed wall niche is one of the highlights of our home, and the perfect spot to showcase decor pieces we love! Our favourite is the calligraphy art print featuring the Chinese character 樂 (or 乐), which symbolises happiness and laughter. ☺️
When it came to our dining table, we were clear that we wanted a spacious surface that could comfortably sit 7-8 people. As for design, we wanted it to have a marble look and white fluted legs so there’s a nice contrast with our vinyl floors :) We managed to find a Taobao seller to customise this 1.9m long sintered stone table and shipped it to SG via a third party forwarder. The total cost was less than $800, definitely less than what local sellers were charging for something similar! 💰💪 To bring that modern coastal touch, we chose sleek white wishbone dining chairs that fit our theme perfectly. The curved beech frame and handwoven rope seats make them not only stylish but also pretty comfy to sit on. 😍🪑
