You know we build our home around a bar cost we look to pretend to be bartenders. But recently hubby move into wines and champagne and love wine tastings.
He got into character and gotten some pro tips from sommelier friend to turn our dining room into a tasting room.
Here are some tips:
1. Lighting over the table in pure white light so that we can see the wines colors
2. Light color table top or use white table cloth.
3. Aircon set to Dry mode so that we can pick up more aromas
Decor tip:
1. We also found lamps made from crushed champagne bottles
2. thrifted some vintage ice buckets to serve drinks chilled.
3. decorated with a wine map to complete the “bar experience”
Lamps is cast in resin so it’s not fragile in case champagne cork hits the lamps.
Remember not to serve champagne in Flutes. Try serving in a white wine glass instead!
