Closed or open kitchen? I changed my mind so many times. I was adamant about having a closed kitchen concept at first. I wanted a proper segregation so that i wouldn't have to worry so much about accidents like kids pulling out knifes or dangerous items from drawers, or "hot soup" spilling on them. I was intending to install a baby gate. But when i collected keys and saw the space, it felt that the space for the kitchen and dining was so restricted. Ultimately, we decided to have an open kitchen, turns out its everything we dreamed of. The open-ness it provides has completely transformed the way we use the space!
