One Year On: How Our Living Room Evolved

Hello yall!! It's been so long but we finally cleaned the house and took photos of our new living room layout It's been about a year and 2 months since we moved in, and our living room has definitely grown together with us. What started as a simple cozy space has slowly evolved into a spot where we spend most of our time together, whether to unwind, play, or host! 
This year, or late last year, we added a few fun and practical pieces: 🎤 A karaoke system for sing-alongs! (It's proven to be millennial and kid friendly 🎮 Nintendo Switch for family games and friendly battles (we super love this space saving but big on fun addition!) 🛋️ A giant bean bag that's now everyone's favourite movie spot (yes it's from Communa!!) 💆 A massage chair for much-needed breaks after long days 📺 A proper TV console 💡 A long awaited tungsten floor lamp (also eyed and pre-ordered from Communa) We're actually quite proud to be able to add a massage chair in our rather tiny 4-room flat, especially since we didn’t hack any rooms! 
Since our last living room update, we finally got ourselves a proper TV console (iykyk!). And funny enough, the karaoke system fit in perfectly! We didn't even plan for it, but the installer thought it was custom-made just for that spot 😅 
Though the space isn't huge, every item here has a purpose... and together they make this space feels complete and cozy. Having seats at different height is also something we learnt overtime; that it is needed because not everyone wanna squeeze on the sofa together 🤭 Hope you find joy in decorating your living room too!
