We are very thankful to have been able to work with NEXEN on our first home π€
As the colour theme of our house is beige, brown and black, we knew we wanted our appliances and fixtures in black to fit the home. We have 4 powertracks running through our living room, kitchen extended island, dry pantry, and bedroom β making everyday moments feel easier and more intentional.
Featured here is the 750mm NEXEN Slim Surface Powertrack β no more worrying about a cluttered console!
In the kitchen, on our extended island, we fixed the 500mm NEXEN Slim Surface Powertrack to power our appliances. This area houses our airfryer, rice cooker, pressure cooker, and our newest edition - an egg-cooker (which weβre planning on sharing more about in time to come) π₯
The dry pantry that houses our water dispenser and coffee machine and it just looks so clean and sleek, no mess even though you maybe some of the wires.
For this space, we installed a 750mm NEXEN Slim Surface Powertrack across a 850mm dry pantry.
π Note:
We highly encourage you to inform your ID / Contractor / Carpenter / Electrician beforehand, and ensure they are all on the same page, about this installation! This is to ensure all is well-prepared before NEXEN comes down to install the track.
The kitchen was the trickiest place to install these due to the miscommunication we had with our ID and the carpenters.
All measurements and liaison were taken and done by us but because we had conveyed this to the carpenter onsite instead of our ID, our ID post-conveyed another set of information to the carpenters and we almost had to redo everything here in the kitchen, which would have been soooo costly because they will have to replace the whole bottom cabinet carpentry, and the tiles at the dry pantry, and delay the handover.
Thankfully we were onsite almost every other day and quickly informed the relevant persons before any irreversible damage happened.
I absolutely LOVEEEE how this looks here at our bedroom vanity π€
This is a 500mm NEXEN Slim Surface Powertrack, that houses 2 different types of the NEXEN Black Premium UK Adapter β a twist and turn adapter, and a press and release adapter
The one on the left is the classic twist and turn adapter that we are all familiar with β plug in your appliance into the adapter, push it into the powertrack, and just twist and turn to switch on.
The one on the right, is the press and release adapter that acts just like a regular socket β you twist and turn to put the adapter into the powertrack and plug in your device (or vice versa), then press the button on the side to switch it on.
I absolutely love both adapters, and the great convenience it brings us throughout our home β do like this post if you use NEXEN too, and drop us a comment if you have any questions π€
