The bedroom is one of our favourite rooms in the house because it’s one of the rooms we feel that we can truly relax in.
One main factor in building our bedroom was deciding if we should get a storage bed frame or a regular one.
We went to JB to buy our Sealy mattress and sought some advice about whether we should get a storage bedframe.
One main pull factor: we really needed more storage space for our bags and winter clothes.
(No product tag so we’re tagging a really similar looking one from Hipvan)
The boss of the shop we went to in JB was very friendly and assisted us with the choice of material, colour, shape and coordinated our delivery smoothly. He even advised us on when it would be best for our bed to be delivered (hint: AFTER major cleaning).
As with most mattress stores, the first set of protector and two pillows are provided. This is best because the size would be accurate, and you can use these measurements to purchase your bedlinen in future.
In about 20 to 30 minutes, our bed was fully installed! The storage function uses a hydraulic mechanism BUT please lift with the right posture to avoid hurting yourself.
This helped us gain so much storage space!
We also recommend putting some formaldehyde removers and keeping this open in the day or while you can so that the “new smell” can wear off faster.
