All my washing essentials are right on top of the washer.
I’ve heard not to place too much on top of it, but luckily these items are all lightweight.
The way I wash: laundry egg for light loads, sheets for regular, and liquid for heavier. I find this works for me in removing scents!
Must have: delicate bags for lighter, more delicate fabrics!
I have a variety of thicknesses and sizes.
My go-to wash is sportswear because it’s hot but not too aggressive.
Light loads go with quick wash. I’ve watched a lot of washing machine videos that say any load can be clean with a quick wash.
I haven’t had a super dirty wash to test it with, but it’s worked well for me. I know my mum disagrees (she does 90-120min loads each time!).
Since I only wash for 1, the tiniest IKEA rack works perfectly. It stores away flat against the wall too.
When I’ve got insufficient space, I also tie things to the rack as seen, hang things on my pull up bar, or drape sheets across chairs.
I am a strict air-drier! I don’t like the feeling of my clothes after the dryer.
I usually plan to dry them on the roof on a sunny afternoon as that only takes an hour, but if not, then the balcony, indoors with a fan, or overnight with the AC works too.
