My unexpected flower display spot…

I’d been stuck for the longest time - over a year actually - on where to place even simple leftover flower arrangements. I’m used to seeing flowers against a clean background in studio and in good lighting, and I hated how they looked in nooks and crannies around the house. 
One day while plant sitting, I brought my neighbours’ baby everfresh to the window and left it there elevated on a stool for a little more light. When golden hour hit, I walked past and took a double take- it was pretty zen. 
This bar stool came from Roger&Son’s moving sale. I’d spied it on their Instagram and went down hoping it was still available (plot twist: they had 6!). We don’t have a bar, but I loved the colour and also wanted something eclectic for the plant corner. It came originally with a beige cushion which we removed because I needed a flat surface to put plants on. 
The moral of the story- flower corners are intentionally planned. I stumbled upon mine, but picking an area of the house that receives the best soft light, as well as one with a clean background, can make a difference in how you appreciate your arrangements. 
I’m not sure how it never clicked earlier: - this corner is my ultimate “golden hour” spot, - plus it faces my doorway directly so any plants or flowers here will greet me the moment i come home But I’m glad I found it. Where’s your favorite spot to place flowers?
