My balcony needs more love ❤️🩹
The current situation: Neat and tidy planter with my nursery plants and things I’m propagating. Thinking of clearing the benches to add a little garden chair and side table? 
Where I started: Little hibiscus plants lining the area, bar stools to look at the park on the right. 
More plants came in which was so pretty! 
By this point, I didn’t have enough floor space to garden and it was hard to keep the floor clean as I couldn’t get under all the pots/benches. Danger zone for lizards! 
So I organised everything onto shelves and racks. I had space again! But the bar stools were seldom used because they would be 1. wet from the rain, which meant I couldn’t use this covered area when it was raining (and if it was sunny, I’d be on the roof instead) 2. dusty from being outdoors (no hose here so it was a hassle to clean before each use) So I removed the stools, which brings us up to speed. Still haven’t decided on what’s next! I want a nice alfresco dining area but I know I also want space to actually garden. Let’s see what the future holds!
