Surprisingly, the most asked about feature of my living room is our fans! Having low ceilings (2.4m), we found these minimalistic 15cm drop ceiling fans. 
Here's a wider angle of our living room from the study. Having an open plan home means the living room extends to the dining and study and we can communicate with our guest whether we are cooking in the kitchen or grabbing something from the study! 
This was a gift from my best friend! The coffee mugs and water jug work so well together. You can use the jug as a vase, it is so pretty :) 
'Chaos & Clarity': We used left over paint, plaster and packing foam to create our art pieces for our living room! 
Our living room doesn't have a TV console so we got the Samsung Sero which has its own sound system (space saving!). It can be wheeled around and stored away after use in the study

We were able to fit a decent sized sofa (3m) for the size of our apartment, perfect for hosting! 
Sofa with us on it for scale :) The curves on the coffee table and the carpet help to soften the space as we have concrete floors. 
We barely have an entry way and it forms park of the living room! We had to custom make this console to fit an awkward depression in the wall! It functions great as we can store must have items like wet wipes for our dogs when we get home from walks.
