We have finally moved onto the rooms! Honestly there is not a lot of reno done for the rooms, since our focus isn’t on the rooms.
In the master bedroom, we have an L-shaped wardrobe in the same microcement laminate which we really love. Also, the fact that it looks a bit limewash means you won’t need to be obsessed whenever a small stain/mark appears 🤣🤣
We decided last minute to have an open niche in the wardrobe to hang any worn clothes. Turned out to be the BEST DECISION EVER 🙌🏼 We also hang our towels here as our master bathroom window cannot really be opened (faces our neighbour’s service yard) so it could be damp and have no air circulation.
The only minor issue is that the hanging rod is a little too high and it was too late to rectify as the carpentry were already installed, so I have to tip toe to hang my clothes up. But this means there will be some clearance space below since our clothes are not that long, so we can also place our small bags here after returning home.
On the other end, we have a small dressing table with mirror plus storage behind. The storage mirror and top cabinet was also added last minute, and another good decision!
Our initial render was just a floating dressing table that’s all 😨 There are 3 tall shelves behind the mirror for the commonly used skincare/makeup items, while I keep my extra stock of whatever skincare/toiletries at the top cabinet above.
One issue is the Dyson hairdryer couldn’t be placed on the stand as it will block the mirror opening. So we have to keep it lying on the dressing table which can be a bit messy with the wires at times.
For the wardrobe internal configuration, we did a mix of both drawers and rods to try to maximize the storage where possible.
We are using a Sealy mattress, and for curtain, it is a layer of double pleated night curtain.
We have another Dyson purifier here and loving how we have an unblocked view of the park.
There are no built-in done in the study room. We just have 2 work desks and the same night curtain as the master bedroom. Thank god for night curtain as the morning sun here is really bright and glaring 🫣
We also have a mini air purifier we got free from our Amglow water dispenser promo. Lastly we also keep our mahjong & table here so it doesn’t ruin the aesthetics of our living room with the bright green+red HOHOHO 🎅🏽
