The main material: wood! I love the warmth of dark wood so that has always been my furniture pick. I focused on varying the tones of brown, shapes of chairs, and textures (adding leather, metal, and soft furnishing) for more depth! Flooring is creamy grey tile, so any colours go! 
Built in furniture material are all laminate. This includes my bathroom vanity, kitchen cabinets, and custom bed/wardrobe platform. 
All doors are laminate as well. Easy to maintain and I don’t see any wear on them. 
I wrapped my white bathroom cabinet doors in a vinyl to add more brown to the bathroom. It’s actually holding up well and it was a super quick but impactful change! 
Colours: warm reds and pinks from my decor, and an array of greens from my plants! 
I also like adding different materials in accent pieces like this faux marble column, shiny plant pot, and fabric pieces like felt hanging, tufted mirrors, and lampshades.
