This is probably seventhfloorflat's signature look in the house. This is our favourite part of the house where we chill and have gatherings around. Fun fact: Almost everything here is from Taobao.... 
As our common areas are open concept, everything is linked together. When we have house parties, they will roam all around the different areas of the space and gather for different things (e.g. board games, drinks, switch on tv etc) 
Our favourite thing of the living room area is the feature wall. Understandably, we also spent the most on this wall. Around $2-3k if I'm not wrong! We used a mix proportion of grey textured background with solid black fluted panels. Using this wall, we also hid our messy wirings for the sound bar, PS4, TV, etc. One regret, though, is to not make use of the fluted panel area and make it into a storage space. 
We also have this super handy sofa side table that we often move around for our own needs. It is super convenient when I am eating dinner by myself/just want to put my bubble tea down while watching show. However, we have at times hit the table and spilled drinks over our sofa T_T probably time for a deep clean.... 
We love how our coffee table and tv console gives us very clean lines. Being consistent with our choices helps with keeping this theme coherent. 
A glimpse of how our living room looks like when we walk out from the corridor. Not sure how many people have seen this view but it is what we see every morning.
