💡 Open Kitchen Lighting
All our lights are set at 3000K, giving the kitchen a warm, inviting glow. It makes cooking feel more comfortable and naturally becomes a space for gathering—especially around the island, where we often end up chatting with friends.
💡 Kitchen Overview
Here’s a full view of the kitchen and dry pantry. The LED strips play a big role in brightening up the space, giving it a clean and elevated look without relying on too many ceiling lights.
☕️ Dry Pantry
The brightness here comes almost entirely from the LED strips. It’s surprisingly sufficient—even for making our morning coffee without turning on any other lights. Although it appears white, it’s still set at a warm 3000K, so it doesn’t feel harsh.
☕️ Dry Pantry (Front View)
From the front, you can really see how the LED strips highlight the textures and finishes, adding depth while keeping the space soft and ambient. It feels functional, but still very styled.
🏝️ Island Pendant
Since we kept downlights minimal, we chose a long pendant to anchor and illuminate the island. It provides focused lighting while also acting as a statement piece in the kitchen.
💡 Kitchen – All Lights On
With just one downlight, the LED strips do most of the work in lighting up the kitchen. When cooking, the hood light adds extra visibility—but honestly, the LED strips are usually more than enough on their own.
💡 Kitchen Without LED
This is the kitchen without the LED strips—my first time seeing it this way. It still works but definitely feels less layered and slightly flatter in comparison (still okay though 😄).
🍽️ Dining Lights
We installed tuneable LED strips along the curtain pelmet, allowing us to adjust both brightness and colour depending on the mood. This is our go-to setting for most evenings—soft, warm, and relaxed.
🍽️ Dining Pendant
When dining, we switch on the pendant light to bring focus to the table and create a more intimate atmosphere.
💡 Living Room Lighting
We didn’t build a false ceiling, so there are no downlights in the living room. Instead, we carried through the same curtain pelmet LED strips, which we switch on for a soft, cozy ambience.
Whenever we need brighter illumination, we rely on the ceiling fan light to lift the overall brightness of the space.
