Battle of the Scent Booster Beads!
As indoor laundry dryers, we take our scent boosters very seriously. We had been using Downy infusions Refresh for an entire year but unfortunately, it has been discontinued **cries** and now replaced with “Unstoppables”.
Thus, we began our search for a new scent booster.
Let’s start with the OG and what we liked about it.
Downy Infusions Refresh had a scent of birch water and botanicals. It gave a gentle fragrance which was not overpowering and clothes smelled “fresh”.
Contender 1: P&G’s Lenor Happiness Scent Boosters - Hotel White Tea
Bought this from Don Don Donki in Singapore and it was so lovely the first time we used it. Once the laundry was done, we opened the washing machine and the house was filled with a fresh, uplifting fragrance.
These white scented beads are pretty powerful and you don’t have to use too much! We definitely love this BUT it’s also a tad pricier unless you can get it on sale.
Contender 2: Ar Füm’s new Paris series.
We went sniffing at NTUC and picked this out from the other 2. This “Arch” model contains top notes of bergamot and oceanic accord, middle notes of freesia and geranium as well as base notes of cedarwood and musk.
Not as gentle as the White Tea hotel scented beads but it leaves a very nice lingering fragrance on your clothes long after they have dried so we do like this as well.
