Laminates, Tiles + Paint Colours

Sharing our laminates, tiles and paint colours for our house—read on to see references 😁 
First, the living room flooring—our original flooring was the white glazed porcelain tiles which are a huge no for us. We went with vinyl overlay in herringbone design, and opted for a lighter brown shade to go with darker wood furniture as advised by our ID. 
The end result, love it! 
The highly demanded Birch Patina colour for our living room walls, personally found it the perfect combination with the selected vinyl floor planks and wood furniture. 
Mini hack: Request painters to paint over all door frames and bomb shelter door so you aren’t stuck with a white BS door/ frame, including the inner side of the main door frame. 
Next up, kitchen flooring—we did the same vinyl overlay but with a light shade here and in regular design as we couldn’t accept the original dark grey floor tiles. Fortunately, wall tiles were in a neutral greyish beige (greige?) colour and we didn’t have to redo it. 
We did a single laminate colour for our kitchen carpentry, using the Panaplast brown teak along with a Minerva sintered stone backsplash & countertop. 
Result: 10/10 for us 
For the dining room carpentry, we have built-in cabinets which act as a bar and dry pantry. Keeping the brown teak here for consistency along with another laminate; Jenning’s Mykonos for the backsplash + countertop. 
Checked out the full sized Mykonos laminate and was assured of our decision, though the photo does no justice to the IRL version 😂

A complete different look under some LED lights :) 
Painted our service yard, bomb shelter and 2 bedrooms (study/ walk in wardrobe room; gym room) in Nippon Paint’s Silent Hour. Also painted our sewage pipes a metallic silver instead of the usual white, because why not?! 
Went with complete different coloured laminates for our bedroom (walk in/ study), including the Panaplast Dark Loft Birch and Admira Orobico Gloss for a wardrobe + vanity table. 
I first saw Panaplast’s Dark Loft Birch featured in someone else’s home, and just knew I had to use this! 
A dark black vanity table to go with the lighter brown shade wardrobe, and wouldn’t have it any other way. 
Our bedroom, which is painted in Handyman’s Tool. This is probably the darkest shade in the entire house, which was perfect in a sleeping room. 
We did a sliding door for the hacked wall between the 2 bedrooms, and went with Lamitak’s Salt Microcement for the door colour. This is also used for carpentry in our foyer, mainly for the shoe cabinets.

And this is how the bedroom looks like! 
Went with Hafary’s floor tiles for both our toilets, similar looking as the main objective was to look as close as possible to our original wall tiles which we kept. 
The original toilet floor tiles were in a dark grey, which we found quite hard to accept. Final look here with the chosen floor tiles, as close as we could get for that close to seamless look.
