We like a nice minimal look while having maximum convenience and efficiency. This is part 1 of 2 on where we’ve placed some of our power points and is how we’ve hidden them away to keep our flat looking clean and tidy.
The power points for our soundbar and FADO lamp from IKEA are hidden inside the floating console. Our ID had a hole cut in the surface so that the wires could go through!
The power points at our bedside tables are hidden behind the tables. We intentionally procured tables with a hole cut through so that the wires could be threaded through and wouldn’t keep falling off the table.
Plenty of power points under my study desk for my multiple screens and the standing desk too, which requires power to adjust its height.
This location is really quite invisible unless you bend down to look under the table. We keep the wires off the ground by tucking them in to the wire holding compartment under the desk. However, we do have to keep some slack for the table height to be adjusted, so they still hang somewhat loose.
