Early this year, we decided to revamp this common room to a proper bedroom for my kid ! Set-up a new bed, rearranged the layout and finally, organized the stuffs into the storage box. The new bed from Ikea is a major love as it act as a storage underneath. Also, we bought a trunk storage to store all their stuffs in it so that the room will be neat and tidy. Home tips : Get lots of storage boxes to keep all the junks and make it out of plain sight. Double bonus if you have furniture that double up as a storage ! 
Trying to play around with different layout to fit the bed and study area was challenging as the room is pretty small for typical bto flat. However, we managed to overcome it and so glad with the outcome. 
In order to make the room more vibrant for the kids, I added a wall stickers. This can be easily peel and paste without worrying about the wall paint.
