We didn’t do much renovation for our common toilet. The original layout was already practical, so we kept most things as they were and only made a few small changes to make the space more kid-friendly.
One upgrade we added was a motion sensor light. This helps when the kids go to the toilet at night. The light turns on automatically when they enter, so they don’t have to find the switch in the dark.
We also installed a lower mirror near the sink. This allows the kids to brush their teeth and wash up by themselves without needing help or a stool.
One thing we realised is that the chrome tap shows water marks quite easily. It looks nice and sleek, but it does require more regular wiping to keep it looking clean.
