Hereโs our bright and airy living room! We added plenty of built-in carpentry to help keep the space mess-free and clutter-free. It also makes it safer for the kids to run around as we've seen many online videos where loose furniture has fallen on children. Another view of our living room - Decided to remove the original DB box and replaced it with a full height cabinet that covers the whole wall behind our wooden door. Also requested for an open niche for some simple display and a main display section so that we can put some family photos and baby mementos such as their hands/feet casts and taimaobi! Since our living room space is quite small with the customised tv console, we opted to not get a L-shaped sofa. We were looking for a small sofa but this 2.5 seater push back sofa caught our eye immediately - both backrest and armrest can be push back to allow 4 adults to sit comfortably! A little tip: consider requesting AA tracks for your cabinets โ they give you the flexibility to adjust shelving heights to suit different items. Behind the full-height cabinet thatโs between the open niche and the glass display, we were able to fit a handheld vacuum cleaner by adjusting or removing the panels! Can you guess whatโs kept behind the cabinet under the display shelf? ๐๏ธ๐คญ Our living room at night โ feels different from the daytime, but still as cosy!
