JB Furniture Hunting - 13 Furniture / Bedding Stores + PRICE GUIDE

Hey guys! We are back with another JB series as we hunt for our bed, sofa, and dining table while our reno is underway. Dimensions have been confirmed with our ID, so we are ready to shop! Disclaimer: These are based on our personal opinions. Make sure to do your own due diligence by checking other feedback like Google reviews. We have included price guides for some items and shared our impressions and thoughts. Our general observations • Most stores offer free delivery to Singapore, but all furniture from JB requires 9% GST. Some shops also mentioned there may be an additional levy. • Check if your mattress can fit into your lift. Otherwise, labour fees may apply for carrying it up the stairs, usually around SGD 15–30 per level, which can add up to quite a sum. • Many shops also offer customisation options such as easy-clean or pet-friendly fabrics if you prefer them over leather. They have manual and electric sofa recliners too. We stayed in the Taman Molek area for SGD 42/night, and all the stores below are within walking distance or a short Grab ride from our hotel. We highly recommend staying nearby if you want to visit everything in one trip. By the end, we were totally mattress-fatigued from trying so many! 🛏 Along the way, we discovered quite a few new local brands, but we felt more comfortable sticking with the brands we already know from SG, especially within our budget. If you are planning a mattress or furniture hunt in JB, we highly recommend you to stay for a day.
