Hello everyone! Thanks for sticking by and today we’re sharing some intentional textures we opt for during our renovation journey.
First up is the fluted base of our extended kitchen countertop. We wanted to have sufficient walking space but also additional countertop space, hence decided to do a simple fluted panel to enhance the texture within our sleek monochrome kitchen.
We also thrifted two rattan looking stools and found they matched perfectly here. Our countertop is 88cm and the stools are 63-65cm high.
These different textures in a small space helped to achieve a unique visual and touch.
From the kitchen POV, you can see our dining area where we purposefully bought boucle textured stools to match with our glossy marble dining top. The dining table base also features a wood-laminated fluted cloud-shaped base.
We spent a little extra to overlay our BTO bathroom; creating the right vibe for this space mattered to us. Here’s an up close shot of our favourite tile!
