Our master bedroom is where we unwind and recharge, and we wanted it to feel like a true retreat. The bed takes center stage, with cosy linens and plenty of pillows for those lazy mornings and restful nights. We also kept the furniture simple with sleek bedside tables beside the bed. 
We installed double sockets on each side of the bed, so we can easily charge our devices or use lamps without having to reach across. 
We chose a higher bedside table to complement our storage bed, which sits higher off the ground. This keeps everything in proportion and provides easy access to our essentials. 
We added an LED strip from Ikea behind our bed frame to create a soft, ambient glow that gives off a relaxed vibe to the room. It’s perfect for winding down in the evenings! 
The best part is that we added blackout curtains because we can’t sleep with any light leaks. They keep the room completely dark, even during the day.
