It’s amazing how far technology has come — now we can use AI to visualize how our home and décor will look before making any changes!!
This is how our TV area looks like with a floating shelf. 😍👌
I really love it, butttt...
We're still on the fence about it..
Some concerns include:
1. What if it "drops" in the future? Half of the wall supporting the TV is a false wall. (it's supposed to be sturdy since our TV is alr mounted but am just paranoid lol) 😅
2. Open shelves = More dust = More Cleaning 🧼
3. Cleaning it will be such a hassle—either we stand on a chair or get a ladder (which we don’t even own). With all that effort just to reach the top, chances are we won’t be cleaning it very often. 🫣
Another one in our living room! 😍
Was telling my husband I want the shelves here so I can buy the $150+ clock from @wallfleurthings on IG and maybe then I won't be late for work anymore since I can see the clock once i come out from the MBR. HE LOL-ED AND SAID AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN, AM STILL GONNA BE LATE EITHER WAY..... C'mon I was trying to motivate myself man. 🤪
Initially wanted to buy a tall faux plant to place it at the area where the bedroom slippers are at but I'm glad we didn't!
I've learned that we shouldn’t rush into decorating our home right away. It takes time to live in the space, understand how we use it, and discover what truly makes it feel comfortable and ‘us.’ Slowly adding pieces that fit our lifestyle and taste makes the home feel more authentic and meaningful.
We're still on the fence about having the floating shelves here, because open shelves = Dust.... We shall see. :)
Small floating shelf in the bedroom because I want to put a small lamp there. We usually sleep with one light on in our MBR, but with the lamp here, we can switch that off.
Still thinking..... 🤔💭
