Sharing a quick look at how we organize our food preparation tools in our kitchen.
Starting with the cabinet under our hob. We only recently reorganized it to make things more practical. The appliances we use most often, like our thermal magic cooker and pressure cooker, are now easy to reach, while the pots we don’t use as frequently are stored further back.
Next to it is our large, deep drawer where we store the pots and pans we use most often. Having them in a deep drawer makes everything easy to access, so we can quickly grab what we need while cooking. Keeping our everyday cookware within easy reach has made our kitchen much more efficient to use.
In the second drawer, we keep our bowls and plates, making them easy to grab when it’s time to serve from the hob. It’s also conveniently located near the sink, so unloading or putting away clean dishes is quick and effortless.
Opposite the oven, we have one shallow drawer and one deep drawer to keep everything baking-related organized.
The shallow drawer stores everyday essentials like oven mittens, aluminium foil, baking paper, and air fryer liners, so they’re always within easy reach when needed.
The deep drawer below is perfect for bulkier items such as chopping boards, baking tins, cooling racks, and other larger kitchen accessories. Keeping these together makes baking and meal preparation much more organized and convenient.
That’s a tour of how we’ve organized this side of our kitchen! We planned the layout around how we cook every day, keeping frequently used items within easy reach and storing less-used items out of the way. A little thought into where everything goes has made cooking, serving, and cleaning up much more efficient. We hope this gives you some ideas for organizing your own kitchen!
