How we make a tiny laundry corner work in our small kitchen

We don’t have a service yard so we made the best of the space in our little kitchen to also accommodate a laundry area. I cannot say enough about my love for the Steigen laundry drying rack. It fits so nicely in tight spaces, dries clothes quickly, and doesn’t damage my clothes. We have a 2 in 1 washer dryer but found the dryer to always damage our clothes so switched to a Steigen laundry rack instead. 
Our washing machine sits tightly in a corner below our dishwasher. We use the little nooks and crannies to place other laundry items. 
Laundry detergent sits in the cabinet above so it’s easy to grab for a loaf of laundry! 
A collapsible laundry basket fits nicely beside our dishwasher when it’s not in use. 
Laundry mesh bags sit in a hanging basket within reach for whenever we load the washing machine.. which, with young kids means everyday 😝 
We hook a hanging rack to our indoor laundry rack to give us a lot more space to hang the tiny laundry items like rags, underwear and little kids’ clothing. It works so well and doesn’t topple the balance of the laundry rack.
