We drew every single appliance into the island plan before carpentry even started.Dishwasher on the left, hob in the middle, robot dock next to it, sink on the right — every one of them has a fixed water in, water out, and power socket position. And all of that had to be roughed in by the plumber before the island was built around it.
Bosch dishwasher needs a specific drain height. The Wells water purifier needs a 4cm countertop hole, a 13A socket below the counter, and 40cm clearance above the filtration unit. The Dreame robot dock needs a precise entry and exit height so it doesn't jam under the cabinet.
For the common toilet we went with Hansgrohe Tecturis E mixer and Unica shower bar, both in brushed bronze. But picking the product is only half the job.
The scale drawings told our plumber exactly where the mixer body sits in the wall, what the inlet position needs to be, and how high the shower bar mounts. We also had to coordinate the concealed toilet paper holder and brush combo — it has a specific cutout size that the tiler needed to know before laying the feature wall.
