How to maximise storage space for your bedroom cabinet

Featuring our common bedroom carpentry!
One of the "challenges" we faced when planning for our common bedroom carpentry is this unexpected wall beam! This wasn't visible on the unit floor plan that HDB gives, so it wasnt taken into account when we designed our carpentry measurement. It was only discovered on the day of our site visit upon collection of keys!
So, we thought of solutions to fully maximise the remaining space allowable by the wall beam! As our home was already compact, we were not letting any space go unused! So this was what was planned!
This is how it looks like in reality!
The hanger rod extends all the way to the wall, though the door is aligned to the position limited by the wall beam for the upper cabinet doors.
For the upper cabinets, instead of having a separator between the left and middle column, it was joint so that more items can be stored easily.
We used these pull out baskets from IKEA instead of having rods at the bottom area, to maximise storage of home clothing, towels, beddings etc.
For the upper cabinets, we also requested for a 2-tier shelf, with the height measurements customized to laundry storage boxes that we were using to store beddings and towels etc
