hi everyone! we're eelsiuh (basically lee huis backwards haha) or also e&s! we’ve finally settled down after moving in about 2 months ago and here's our house tour! 🤓 we’re a 4-room resale hdb and our renovation was about 40k. we didn’t go with a specific theme, just wanted the space to feel cosy and creamy, and our ID (parallax studio) really nailed it! our sofa is from castlery and it's from the jonathan collection. we went for the armless options in case we want to extend it in the future. our living area is also the only place with a false ceiling. we do not have built-in carpentry in the living as well! our tv console is a 1.6m dupe of the ikea besta tv console 🤓☝🏻 we also upgraded our TV after a month of moving in (couldn't resist the flash sale haha) this is our favourite part of the house, our bespoke built-in dining table! our ID suggested it since we really wanted an open kitchen, and we’re so glad we went with it. it ties the kitchen and living area together perfectly 🤩 we wanted to keep the kitchen bright and airy so we didn’t box up the ugly pipes. we removed the existing walls and added glass panels instead to allow light to pass through 🌞 we're still thinking of getting blinds as we don't have privacy while cooking and doing laundry :,) our sink was originally on the same side as the stove but we moved it to free up more countertop space 🍳 our backsplash is made up of tiles from hafary! we incorporated curves into the kitchen carpentry to make our home feel softer. our drying rack is also lower than the usual height since s is only 1.5m (e is 1.8m), but we went with whoever washes the dishes more haha! here's our small and functional service yard 🧺 we actually have our microwave here (not pictured) which we will talk about in future posts!
