House Tour of our #HillsideNook! Welcoming a Huat Huat New Year!🧧🧧 
Simple, clean and airy space. 
Bombshelter along the entryway, toned down by painting a close colour to the walls. Full height shoe cabinet in a simple yet practical design. 
Wet and Dry kitchen carved out from the limited space making it practical yet open for natural light to shine in. 
Though we cook daily, we use minimal cooking appliances. Rice cooker (hidden in the island), a Combi Oven cum Airfryer, induction hob and a Microwave were all we need. 
A good recliner sofa and a matching massage chair sets the mood for movie nights and family time. 
We fell in love with this airy balcony view when we first viewed this apartment. Imagining ourselves sitting here to enjoy the breeze over dinner or a cup of tea before we even moved in!😄 Now, it’s become our dining cum laundry area. The balcony comes with fins which can be closed and yet allows breeze in. 
A room designed for a growing teen. -Adjustable table with flexible height. -Ergonomic chair for spinal health -Spacious storage for books and toys. 
And of course, more storage for his favorite things. 
Anti slip tiles and also opted out of glass shower door for easier maintenance. 
One piece water closet is easy to clean and gives a seamless look. 
Good mattress and storage frame were the must have in our list! They are a good investment and will last for years. We also decided to do our curtains locally after much sourcing and found a comparable quality supplier. 
Chose to use a sideboard with drawers instead of tv console in the bedroom. Only grip is the dangling wires which need some concealing ideas! 
Due to space constraint, this dresser with side table combo fits best and double up as a work desk too.
