Here's flipping a 3-bedroom resale condo into a Modern French Colonial home, with a tinge of luxury.
This was the original foyer-living room set up with the main door on the right.
It's a compact social space - narrow in width but lengthy.
As it was a tenanted property at the time, everything was loose furnishing with minimal storage and personality.
To maximise storage capacity, we flipped the TV wall to the opposite side of the main entrance.
We then fleshed out floor-to-ceiling, timber-beaded carpentry in hand painted finish, with the main objective of blending the carpentry's facade with its surrounding walls (so it wouldn't feel so intrusive and bulky).
Cleaning up the lines in the background, we designed a laminated, curved carpentry feature that wraps up to the ceiling. This seamless landscape draws attention to the apartment's height while bringing INTENTION to the entry foyer.
We curated this as an anchor to the space, in a bold, dark colour palette; visually re-proportioning the living's length with it's width.
Warm LED lighting trimmed along our custom-arched tv cabinet.
The homeowners had an interactive, sculptural fish clock which worked so perfectly with the intended design!
What some foliage and rustic colours can do to spruce up your balcony!
We turned this outdoor area into an alfresco dining space and added ziptraks to facilitate meals in comfort at any time of the day!
We did a vinyl floor overlay for a modern chic feel, and re-did the carpentry and counters with a white-on-white understated luxury aesthetic.
Styling was our client's forte in this kitchen and they chose the perfect painting from their collection to exhibit!
We removed and relocated the wardrobe build up and replaced the curtains with slatted venetian blinds for a lighter, crisper feel.
We also demarcated the bay window seating with laminated carpentry framework - once again, bringing intention and focus to the new lounge-with-a-view.
Crackled, deep green subway tiles, checkerboard flooring and white ribbed tiles.
Layering multiple textures in this newly re-tiled bathroom work as long as they all share similar muted undertones. With each balancing the other out in either colour or texture, the diversity synergizes and gives this bathroom an added edge and dimension!
