Welcome to our hosting tips page, your trusted source for hosting tips and inspiration that will transform your dining area into the perfect setting for any occasion! Whether you're planning a festive celebration, a memorable family gathering, or an unforgettable birthday party, we are here to help you create magical moments at home. "Always buy in a set of six or more!", said mum. I will never forget her ways of buying things when comes to cups, plates, utensils & placemats. Indeed what she said is true! It comes in handy when we are hosting! Also a tip: drinks placement are always on your right! Another personal touch that I never fail to have is to try to always have a flower as the centrepiece to feel the freshness of the area! Do you spot the curves of the dining table cloth? Not only that is the only feature that caught my eye, it is waterproof too! Hence any spills can be handled with just a wipe! I got it from shein! You can just google it out! Or reach me out at our I.G punggohfield via DM! We've created a side for the kids to hangout and play! This is as so that the adults can still monitor them even though we are all eating! A wide top angle for you to visualise our dining room. The corner shelves is where all the toys are! It definitely comes in handy. Another angle with a sneak peek of the slide beside it. As we mentioned earlier, we want to make sure that guest could still see their children & also within their reach while they are eating as so that they could have the peace of mind to assure that their keeps are safe. This is also to make them sure that their kids are able to still socialise with other guests. Another angle of the kids play area! This area is actually where we cover up the switches and plugs! An idea for you all to create your own decor space! The toy storage in the dining room. To provide the ease & comfort of the guest choice of drinks, we put it all in another fridge of ours in the dining room! Another angle for you to see! Also the airtight container is really tight! Worth the buy! The various drinks that we usually drink and also for the guest to enjoy too! The zoom-in on our fridge! The water we got, it consist of 80 cups for just $20.90! Ice cream and some ice lollies/jellies in the freezer compartment. Overall angle for you to see! This was during Hari Raya 2024! Our movable kitchen island we pushed it into the kitchen as so to make more space for guest to come and does not feel cramped! We placed all the food to be served here as so that it is easier to manage and handle! Since the dining room can has glasswares and dinnerware that is breakable, we make the kitchen island also for the kids area to eat! The perks of having an open concept kitchen and a movable kitchen island! We are going to show you some of the party we had for our kids! This was when our movable kitchen island was out out of the wet kitchen. We made it into a celebration mode! We made the balloon sculpture ourselves! We have two sons, Wyl & Noah. This was for Wyl's 5th Birthday! Astronaut/Space theme! This was Noah's first birthday! Noah's ark was the theme. All of the decor was D.I.Y. from the balloons to the ship board. We used a recycled board and bought a vinyl cover that are for cupboards and paste it on the recycled board! We pushed in the movable kitchen island into the kitchen as all our kids, nephews & nieces are getting bigger hence the space! This was Wyl's 6th Birthday, the greatest showman theme! Easy and simple to do hosting with self-diy. Does not need to cost a bomb when our house is minimalist and always ready to do the hosting! Noah' 2nd birthday with the Suits theme from the netflix show. He love that show! Since its a very simple theme, lesser decor needed! The after-party. Cleaned & serene. The feels you had after cleaning up! Serene & calm views in our eyes.. The close-ups of the aftermath. The doors are closed which means it is the end of the post! Sometimes we closed the doors when our kids was playing in the living room kicking the ball and they can be very loud. Its a peaceful and romantic spot for us to have our meal as husband and wife when the door is closed! Giving you all the idea to create this kind of door in future homes maybe? See you all till the next post!
