While we keep to the usual dark wood shades around the house, we also like how the pop of colours for most Mid-Century Modern homes. When we identified that this would be the theme of our home, we were glad that this included making use of some bold colours. From the list, mustard was our top favourite and it has been one of our go-to options for appliances if that was on the list. 
Adding these pop of colours around the house really complemented the whole look seamlessly. We somehow created this “identity” for our home that now whenever our friends see pieces in these colours they’ll be reminded of us! Pro-tip: Make use of paint ideas to add colours to your home or even small accessories so they can be changed out over the season 
With a subtle retro theme, the mustard stands out nicely next to the matcha green laminates. It’s fun to play with colours around the house especially when it’s on an appliance that is both functional and stylish.
