The kitchen was kept windowless to create a greater sense of space and let in light and breeze, so working here wouldn’t feel like being boxed in.
The galley layout made sense for how the space is used, efficient and streamlined, with long worktops running the length of both sides. Overhead cabinets were kept to a minimum. They’re hard to reach, and our focus was on keeping the space open, not overloaded.
Importantly, everything is flush, no odd gaps, no appliances sticking out. Just a clean, functional space designed to be a joy to be in.
