We were lucky to have found a north east facing flat — with bright morning sun that isn’t too glaring, and afternoon sun in the yard (perfect for drying clothes)! Follow us on this series of pictures to see how our flat transforms from dawn to dusk. 
Having our dining table in the same space as our living room also meant that we could bathe in the bright morning light as we have breakfast. 
The morning sun really helps to perk our plants up. A daily morning routine with our plants — soaking up sunlight and water!

And this is where we wind down for the day. We typically turn off the main lights to soften the room as dusk falls. Having a few mood lamps interspersed around the house exudes a totally different, cosier feel.
