Showcasing our entryway today!
Might not be a typical choice to have a partition wall greet you at the entrance. It’s main purpose for most might be as a privacy screen. However, our doors are closed most of the time so it’s really more of an added design element for us.
Our entryway in the day, the choice of laminate blends in pretty well with our wall colour too.
Recently added some flowers to brighten up the space as we’ve a curved settee area which we don’t really use. I think the space could do with some taller flowers instead!
When evening hits. Turned on the lights in our entryway for this shot, love how warm the colours turned out ☺️ Also really like the reeded glass that we opted to go for - thankfully its not too difficult to maintain.
Thankfully our entryway is quite long (2.8m) so the area is still quite spacious with the partition wall added. You can also see the floor tiles details in this picture, it adds a little wabi sabi element to our home.
Our ID included these slant removable shelvings (45 degrees) in the carpentry so we can store our shoes. We can’t store a lot, but so far it still works for two people.
