Hello to my glorious entryway! Love how big the peninsula table is and that is where I drop my groceries and shopping off the moment I enter the house. Before you think about the set up of your place, run through thr flow of yourself living in that space! How much more space/storage/movement area do you need in order to fulfil your lifestyle? Oh yes, one thing I did for myself was a 2 way switch. The switch beside the door will light up the entryway and the walkway to the bedroom. It allows me to enter into the house with light and switch off those lights right by my master bedroom. This eases the flow of the house and living lifestyle too.

This is an area where I store my shoes! Everything unsightly will be kept away from our vision. I also use the corner cabinet for first aid items, everyday necessities like tissues, wet wipes, alcohol swabs etc.

It was in the thoughts to cover up the bombshelter door because everyone is doing so. In the end, I decided not to cover it up to have more walking space and a wider visual look. All the insecticide, ant bait and neem oil for plants are all stored in this cabinet on the left. It also holds my Wifi router for the home too. With an exposed bombshelter door, it also allows the creative juices to flow to decorate it!

Decided on a bench right at entryway to drop off everyday bags or even to sit to wear socks and prepare to head out. It also because a statement piece to introduce the home to visitors. First impressions count! Our entryway is designed for both function and style.
