Finally utilised empty space in study!

Bought a cabinet for our study room and finally made use of that empty space! I couldn’t decide on what to get - open shelves or cabinet - and procrastinated with my so long. Glad I didn’t get open shelves cos now I can hide all unsightly stuff inside 😂 
Also, I get to decorate the top of the cabinet! I’m not very good at styling yet though. Am just using what I already have as I don’t want to simply buy useless items to decorate it. 
Art print is by a Thai illustrator! While the couple drawing and miffy are gifts from a friend :) 
The mushroom stand, postcard, and small ceramic piece were acquired recently during my trip to Chiang Mai. I want to continue filling the space with things that are meaningful to me :) things that are not simply a decor piece. Do share if u have ideas on how to style this area! Maybe I should fill the wall above it too?
