The entryway is the first thing I see when I walk in, so I wanted it to feel calm, open, and welcoming. I added a cheeky poster that reads, “Sorry, I’ve to leave the party. I like being at home.” It always makes me smile when I come in the door. It’s a small reflection of my personality and am truly a homebody.

I kept the palette neutral with clean lines and concealed storage to hide visual clutter. Full-height storage keeps shoes and clutters tucked away. The flush door design makes everything feel seamless, especially in a narrow corridor like this.

I also made sure the cabinet finishes match the rest of the home to create visual continuity. Inside, adjustable shelving gives us the flexibility to change things up as our needs evolve — from seasonal items to daily essentials, it's all neatly hidden away but easily accessible. Not over-designed, not over-decorated. Just enough to exhale the moment I get home.
