welcome to our entrance 👋🏻
although small, we try to make it as functional and as practical as possible!
some of our features:
😚 built in carpentry
😚 storeroom
😚 display niches
😚 nook
😚 tic tac doors
😚 full length mirror
tbvh, our foyer/ entrance is rlly simple
nevertheless, it features a full height carpentry to hide our storeroom
we added a shoe rack bench 3-4 months after we moved in bcos we realised that we didn’t want to retrieve our everyday footwear from the shoe cabinet #firstworldproblem
design here is pretty simple with some curves to soften the look & a little mirror for me to check myself out before going out HAHAHAHA
husb questioned the functionality of a full length mirror here when our ID proposed. I told him, we will defo use it and guess what,,,
I CAUGHT HIM USING THAT MIRROR ALMOST EVERY TIME BEFORE HE LEAVES HOME HAHAHAHAHAHA
i wanted to hide our storeroom - that was the only request I conveyed to my ID about the entrance & oh if possible, add a niche to put some impt items (eg. tissue, wet wipes etc) to grab before going out
the space to play around w was v limited hence, the niche wasn’t feasible sad
❓ honestly, till date, I questioned myself - why do I need to hide the storeroom lol
part of our entrance (or rather dining/ living), is the nook that is supposedly a seat for us to wear our shoes
❓ but did we do that
❓ no. we did not
so this book became a “white elephant” but it’s a useful spot for me to lie here, read and play switch. many times, when big group of our friends came over, i lounge here too
other than the nook,
🤩 it features 3 display niche
husb always like those expensive plant LOL & he wanted to feature 3!!!!
🙅🏻♀️ I forbid obviously bcos it’s too damn ex & the bottom niche has 2 plugs which we can use it for something else … now, there sits a digital clock that’s way too expensive & a google nest
❤️ what I also love ❤️
is the storage space that surrounds the display niches & book
they are tic-tac doors and IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
