Lighting is an important element in your home and can make or break the overall vibe of the space, especially at night. We made sure to plan for accent lights in most of the individual spaces, knowing that we do not like harsh or bright lights at night if it’s just us home alone. For the living room, this simple wall light adds a softness to the space and it’s tri-tone so we can change it up according to the mood. We opted for hanging pendant lamps above the dining table and it’s the focal decor which you’ll see the first thing you walk in. It’s bright enough even to light up the living room. As we know we will be turning on these lights the most, we linked it to the 2-way switches so it can be turned on & off at the main door and beside our living room. BTOs now comes with one set of 2-way switch if we are not mistaken so do keep that in mind when you are planning your lighting points and switches. For our multipurpose room, we didn’t add on any lighting point so our main light course is also the ceiling fan-light. Added a small mushroom shaped lamp as our small light source Our MBR has spot lights in our false ceiling and we have a light for our ceiling fan too But the light we used the most is this travertine hanging lamp which helps set the mood for us to wind down and relax before turning in for the light. The lighting point is conveniently placed beside the bed so turning on & off is easy without leaving the bed once you get comfortable.
