DIY home cafe: Coffee station look-book!
4751
Welcome to our coffee corner ☺️☕️ This space evolved from a plain wall next to the entry way > to a foyer sideboard > to a coffee station. We can’t be more happy with how homey and quaint yet ‘cafe-like’ this space feels. And to top it off it’s 100% functional for making our fresh coffees in the morning! After using this station every day for 3 months, I find the workflow quite okay — would’ve liked for the sideboard to be abit broader so there’s more surface for prep, but overall still okay. I definitely recommend you to take note of the length of your coffee machine and grinder before you purchase the sideboard, or vice versa 😅 Peep foyer 👀❤️ One thing good about having the coffee station next to the entry way is that it’s always ready to takeaway in the mornings before work (: It would’ve been a luxury to have a sink nearby for clean up etc. and I get why people would choose to place their coffee machines on their kitchen counter instead. But we have truly no regrets creating a separate coffee station bcos it really gives more character to our house. It always becomes the center of conversation when guests are over and we love that we can personalise cafe-style lattes and americanos <3 The size of this sideboard is just perfect for keeping our coffee-related supplies. The sliding fluted glass panel looks really good with the wood, and makes reaching for cups super efficient. The drawers house cleaning supplies and other accessories~ P.s. couldn’t find the exact link we used to buy our sideboard on Taobao, but can try reverse image search on the app and go with the one with the highest reviews 👍🏼 Hope you enjoyed this little photo book of our coffee station 😊 If you’re thinking of investing in your own, just do it! Cheers ☕️
