Welcome back, everyone! 👋 We're back and ready to delve into details of our Dining Space this week. As mentioned in our previous post, we have a curvilinear settee that stretches from the living room to the dining area creating a seamless and cosy transition. Before moving in, we cherished gatherings at friends' and family's homes. Now, we're thrilled to create our own cherished memories in our inviting space. Our adorable white Bestar corner fan adds the perfect charm to complete the look. It's the little details that make a big difference! Our dining area cozily hugs the window, creating a 'booth-like' feel. Space-saving and oh-so-inviting! While bench seating might not be everyone's cup of tea due to its rigidity, the space-saving benefits shine here. No intrusion on walkways, leaving the path to the living room and kitchen unobstructed. Zooming in on the details! Take a closer look at our favourite vase adorning our dining table! The sun gracefully streaming through the blinds, casting a warm glow that adds a touch of magic to our space. Scroll down as we unveil our before-and-after photos below! The blank canvas! ✨ Here's a glimpse of our dining space in its bare state before the magic of renovation & styling. Behold the transformation of our dining space after renovation – a blank canvas now turned into a space of warmth and style. This area was initially suggested as a study, but watch as we transform it into our cozy reading nook. Meanwhile, our son enjoys a delightful pastime of vehicle watching at the comfort of home. Sometimes, unexpected changes lead to the most delightful surprises! Our cozy reading nook easily transforms into a secondary dining space for larger gatherings. Just add a foldable table and chairs, and we're ready to host! Versatility at its best! This structural pillar posed a challenge initially, but we embraced it. As hacking was not an option, we softened its look by incorporating a curvilinear settee. An amazing solution to turn our headache into a highlight of our home. We aimed to finish our renovation just in time for our son's 2nd birthday, and we did! So, here's a bonus picture of our son bashfully celebrating his 2nd birthday in our newly renovated home feels extra special. Stay tuned for some amazing insights and ideas next week!
