Dining Space: cafe vibes at home

Welcome to our dining space! We wanted to bring a cafe-like vibe to our home, so we created the space with a simple appeal - clean white walls, wooden furnishing and a few decorative items. 
The customised dining table from Taobao. Check out the fluted design! The sleek design and clean lines ♡ 
The 2.1m pine wood table has curved end on one side, and straight on the other. The light coloured wood fits well with the Scandinavian theme of our home. 
These rattan chairs add a touch of rustic charm to the dining space. We added these natural beige chair pads to make seating more comfortable. 
The focal point of the living room is the dining space. It forms part of the larger, multipurpose living area of our home. We spend quite a lot of time here, watching tv while we eat. It’s also great for gatherings with large groups of friends or family members. 
The dining table also doubles up as a work space. Sometimes, we unwind here with a book and a cup of coffee. As cozy as our favourite cafe! 
Coffee, tea or me? 
With the dining space right outside the kitchen, it's convenient for both serving food and clearing up after a meal. Do factor in electrical points near the dining space for steamboat / charging devices. 
If there is one thing we'd change about our dining space would be to add pendant light for that ‘hygge’ feeling at home.
